Evaluation of the Implementation of the Right to Integration Project, Tanzania
Evaluation of the implementation of the From Rights to Inclusion Project in Tanzania was done yesterday 03rd March at SHIVYAWATA National Headquarters, to the leaders of Disabled People's Organisations, Staff involved in the implementation of the project as well as People with Disabilities who have benefited from the implementation of the project.
The From Rights to Inclusion project has been conducted in Kenya and Tanzania. In Tanzania, The From Rights to Inclusion Project Implementation which comes to an end on 31st March this year has been run by SHIVYAWATA in collaboration with Handicap International., by conducting Trainings to Leaders of Disabled People's Organisations as well as People with Disabilities in Tanzania on issues such as the Meaning of Disability, Policy issues relating to People with Disabilities, Law relating to the issues of people with disabilities, Leadership Training, Entrepreneurship, Advocacy and Lobbying etc.
The From Rights to Inclusion Project in Tanzania, has helped to raise awareness of various aspects of Persons with Disabilities particular rights issues, Laws and policies relating to issues of People with Disabilities.
